Every year, The Museum of Flight decorates a Christmas Tree in the lobby, based on theming from that year. In 2018, we were kicking off 2019 early with an Apollo 11 themed tree.

On an autumn morning, guests gathered in the T.A. Wilson Great Gallery at The Museum of Flight. There was games, key note speaker (and lady boss) Cindy Bearden Healy! So inspiring to see how The Museum supports the Puget Sound Career with STEM programs.

Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961, and the inaugural launch of the first Space Shuttle on April 12, 1981. The event, held in the towering Space Gallery, this Yuri's Night celebration features music by Noise Complaint's Chris Tower, Subset, and Live Percussion by AMMO, food trucks, aerospace guest stars, and a costume contest.
