Originally known as Project Phoenix, Staypineapple was looking to branch out into the licensing and management sector. The goal was to stand out among other major hotel licensing companies such as Marriott International and IHG. We needed the brand to also tie into the existing Staypineapple Brand. I took inspiration from the half pineapple, it’s always used split vertically, but what about horizontally? That change in design along with highlighting one of their other primary colors, green (representing finance and stability) made the brand tie in with their existing brand. This brand is to not be used for their lifestyle hotel brand but for the financial side of the brand including pitchdecks, case studies and financial reports. The project strengthened their presence in this sector and set it apart from their existing collateral.
