Dash’s Pineapple Pup Costume Contest is an annual social media contest that plays with the fun, quirky nature of the Staypineapple brand. In the past, the look and feel have pretty much been the same; focusing on previous entries in a collage style. For 2023, our team decided to change it up by adding in motion graphics and illustrations to add a dynamic edge to the contest. In collaboration with our marketing team, we worked together to produce a timeline that included the launch, voting, and announcement of the finalist. This change in format led to increased followers and traction online, running the contest on Instagram and Facebook.
Deliverables - illustrations, contest poster, guest room tv motion graphics, social media static and motion graphics, blog imagery and email imagery.
This contest was created in collaboration with Casey Barks, Della Rae Carriere, Yvonne Worden, Peter Hand, and Staypineapple’s Marketing Team.
At Staypineapple, the marketing team always tries to capitalize on holidays to celebrate. When it comes to Mother’s Day, we try to celebrate in the food & beverage outlets onsite (special menus, drinks, etc). However, for Pineapple Bistro & Bar (located at The Maxwell Hotel) the restaurant has a bit more of a relaxed feel, not warranting a special menu. Our team thought - “what about pet moms?”, this unique angle allowed us to team up with Seattle Humane Society, a local non-profit animal shelter in the Seattle area. We took advantage of their “cuddle vans” to bring dogs & cats for guests to enjoy in our hotel lobby. Using an illustrative style and playful feel, we executed a campaign that authentically merged both our brands, leading to a successful awareness campaign onsite.
Deliverables - event poster, blog post, email graphics, social media motion graphics, onsite signage & menus

Every year, Seattle hosts Seattle Cocktail Week, a partnership with local bars & restaurants to feature unique cocktails, spirits, and industry professionals. They reached out to Staypineapple’s bar at The Maxwell Hotel, Pineapple Bistro & Bar, to not only feature 3 drinks but also host an afterparty with featured drinks, art installations, and dj to set the mood. I was inspired by 1920’s speakeasy design, taking from Art Deco typography & stylized illustrations. We collaborated to create an event package that raised brand awareness for The Maxwell Hotel & Seattle Cocktail Week.
Deliverables - event poster, social media graphics, digital graphics, bar tabletop signage, bar signage, event map & welcome signage with event map.

Hops & Props is an annual tasting event at The Museum of Flight featuring 100’s of beers and ciders. It is tradition that every year a new identity and theme is curated for this event with the existing deliverables remaining the same. Many of the items are collectors items, so they cannot be the same year to year (pint glasses and merchandise). This year’s inspiration came straight from the pacific northwest, featuring wood textures and photographic imagery. With the marketing’s announcement of the event, we saw record numbers of ticket sales: selling out in under an hour. The day of the event, I was also in charge of event signage plan, logistics, photography coverage, clean up and execution.
Deliverables - Event logo, poster, email & social media marketing, merchandise design (t-shirts, pint glasses, pint lanyards) beer & festival guide, event map, day-of signage (physical & digital) and event photography (blog link coming soon)
Project was created in collaboration with Julie Wilbert, Cindy Messey and The Museum of Flight’s Marketing & Private Events Departments.
Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of Yuri Gagarin, the first man to orbit the earth, we celebrate this accomplishment with dance, art and technology. Following up the 2018 event would be a task, the goal was to double the attendance, elevate the event by tailoring it to a new gallery and make the event a sneak peak for the new exhibition “Destination Moon : The Apollo 11 Mission” to launch the following day. The logo for the event was provided (the Yuri Head - provided by the Los Angeles event & type treatment) - so the goal was to create a new look and feel. My biggest inspiration was the imagery from NASA’s galaxy telescope images, they reminded me of disco lights of the 70’s and the EDM music scene of today. The day of the event went off without a hitch, with flawless execution and rave reviews. I helped to take care of set up, logistics, event photography and clean up on the day of.
Deliverables - Poster (in various sizes and formats), Advertisements, Sponsorship Doc, Stickers, Club Cards, Email Campaign, Shirt Design, Cup Graphics, Step & Repeat, Map, and Event Signage.

I was tasked to create the look and feel, marketing materials and entry packet. With the Public Events team facilitating entries, marketing spread the word - curating 20+ submissions. Day of, costumes were photographed the day of the fashion show, as well as event photography coverage by me. We were amazed by the creativity and ingenuity of those who took part.

According to The Museum of Flight - “The Pathfinder Awards honors individuals with ties to the Pacific Northwest who have made significant contributions to the development of the aerospace industry. Categories include Flying, Education, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing and At-Large.” In the 2018 Pathfinder Awards, I was in charge of creating a wordmark and look and feel. We wanted to celebrate the Pathfinder Awards past by incorporating vintage style mixed with modern lines. This invitation would dictate the event’s look and feel including linens, flowers, and decor. The event grew in scale as well as increased contributions from organizations such as Boeing.
Deliverables - Pathfinder Awards Logo, Event invitation package with RSVP Card and Recipient Descriptions, Presentation graphics, and gift bag and metal water bottle.

The New Jersey State Fair is an annual summer event in Sussex County, a farming community in northern New Jersey. Featuring local animals, carnival rides, horse shows, and many other attractions. The fair is a staple in the local community. Being one of the oldest and most traditional fairs on the east coast, it is a tradition for many. However, new families are moving into the community may not know about this yearly event. The solution is to create an event package to bring new families to the fair, this would include a poster, advertising, ticket mailer, and in-house name tags.
